Spengine provides a search engine for college sports information. You may use our services for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use automated systems to scrape or harvest data without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt our services
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights

Content and Intellectual Property

All content on Spengine, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is protected by intellectual property laws. Athlete information is aggregated from public sources and remains subject to original source terms.

What Spengine Is

Spengine is a search index over rosters that colleges and universities already publish. It is not a system of record: we hold no account for you, host no athlete profiles, and every result links to the athletic department’s own page, which remains the authority on its athletes. Listings are corrected at the source — see our Privacy Policy for how to ask us to re-check or remove one.

Advertising

If you buy a sponsored placement, the following apply:

• Placements are text only, labelled as advertising, and reviewed by us before they run
• We may decline, edit, or remove any advertisement at any time, including after it is live
• You are responsible for your advertisement — that you may make the claims in it, and that its destination is lawful and accurate
• We do not guarantee placement, impressions, clicks, or any result from advertising with us
• Reporting is based on impressions the unit was actually visible for, not on page renders

Spengine is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy or completeness of information
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Results from use of our services
• Security of transmitted information

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spengine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spengine from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or use of our services.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of Spengine after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
